The Windsor Fire Department is a combination department that provides Fire supression, EMS and Rescue services to the Township of Windsor, Ohio. Our station is located at 5360 Mayfield Road and houses a rescue engine, a 3,000 gallon tanker/pumper, a mini pumper, a light rescue truck, a utility van and an ALS ambulance.
Staffing of the Windsor Fire Department consist mostly of volunteers supplimented by a limited part-time program and a full-time Fire / EMS Administrator. The full-time Fire / EMS Administrator is on station Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 A.M. and 3 P.M. The part-time program runs between April and September and provides one additional personel Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 A.M. and 3 P.M. (Part-time staffing varries based on funding
Volunteer Firefighter / EMT
The Windosor Townhips Fire Department is seeking quality individuals who are interested in becomeing a voluntere firefighter and/or EMT. No experience is required; training will be provided. Experienced individuals are also welcome. All applicants will be subjected to FBI/BCI Background checks prior to appointment as a township employee.
Volunteres are eligible to fill part-time shifts upon obtaining both firefighter and EMT certifications and approval by the fire chief.
